I was wondering the same thing. Lakshman in the water scenes were cool but it looks so much like an ocean instead of a river. I thought I was wrong but I am pretty sure a river wouldn't have waves like that ...

Here Urmila is shown very understanding and supportive hence she doesn't question, doesn't need to. She has accepted everything just like Lakshman had accepted a life of servitude. It would have been good for her to express her thoughts or sorrow but maybe she doesn't do it just not to cause more sadness to her family. The portrayal is beautiful and Vaidhehi has done and excellent job with her role.
