I do think Armaan got off way too easy but that’s on Abhira more than him since it seems like she has just been waiting to hear him say that he wants to patch up to forgive him & move on. I think that license cancellation was introduced mainly to facilitate RK's entry.. It was an out of character thing for Ar to do anything that impacts Ab's career and out of character for Ab not to have stronger reaction.... But thats the issue with forced situations or narratives, it becomes difficult to come out of it without impacting the leads character arc..
