9:09pm 26 runs off the last two overs means that Warriorz have something to bowl at. Their innings went nowhere. There was a semblance of hope with Deepti and Chetry setting a platform. But Mishra's middle-over burst punctured them and left them reeling. Till the last two overs allowed them to cross 140. Giants should be confident of chasing it down but Warriorz do have the ammunition to challenge them. There is the spin King and the king of T20Is, Ecclestone, the No. 1-ranked bowler.

This is the lowest total of Season 3 of the WPL. A solid bowling performance from the Gujarat Giants have ensured the Warriorz never really got going in their innings. Navgire gave a good start but was then trapped LBW by Dottin. The Warriorz got a partnership going between Deepti Sharma and Uma Chetry, but things went downhill once the partnership was broken. Priya Mishra then bowled a sensational over as she dismissed Tahlia McGrath and Grace Harris, to reduce the batting side at 78/5.
