Actors after performing in this drama, saying these lines, doing slo mo dialogue delivery with ott expressions, and presumably seeing some of the final cut, were so excited about the project before it aired is another baffling point for me. How will reading the script before help any of them anyways in their decision-making IF after enacting the whole script, they were still thinking they had made a masterpiece and were so proud of it.

This project in its ENTIRETY lacks self insight in every way possible.

This is the result when the intentions behind making a project aren’t sincere. Majority of the cast did it for the names associated and what they got paid to do this. Then they all patted themselves on the back convincing each other they made some masterpiece. Haseeb had been making weird posts calling it a success before it even aired, raving about chemistry and love being in the air n what not.

During the YumHaj tour, Wahaj himself told me that this is something his fans will REALLY enjoy. When I asked him about SMD

There’s literally no excuse I can make for him. This was a bad call all the way around.

Exactly...they all acted like they made some masterpiece.

IMO,All the flaws and loopholes could have been ignored if it was a good entertainer..but neither it was a good entertainer nor its a good story..

SMD had the potential to be a good emotional love story but the thing is that you dont feel anything for the lead characters except for getting frustrated....that's how terrible the knitting of the story.

I mean Sadaf had gone through a toxic abusive marriage and married cheater husbandbut instead of feeling sorry for Sadaf,she looks bad and desperate ...and they made her look more psychopathic than someone with whom audience would empathize with...that's such a poor character development..I mean how can anyone relate to such characters.

At the end of the day,script is the king..!!! Actors should chose a good script rather than going for director because the way scenes are written has a big role to play in shaping up a story.

@bold he actually felt like this is something people would enjoyHe actually doesn’t have any script sense than I would say

The problem is the intention with which they have done the project...they have just done it for the names attached and the end result was really bad..!!

The episode started 5 minutes late.

HAA ne script padh lia hoga before shoots aur phir koi excuse bana kar patli gali se nikal gaya hoga. This show is completely against the kind of ethos HAA now promotes after becoming religious. Heard Obi was offered the role too but he said no. Again this script would go against the values Obi is always emphasizing.

Mukarram on kdh said both obi and talha were offered smd. An actors can be offered multiple projects. Not like badzann and smd timelines overlap.
