Tbh I dont think the ending is sad. The entire show had been enough depressing to make the ending sad.

honestly I was quite prepared for them to only unite right at the end, I just expected Bilal along with Sadaf to get more focus and Ammar to take a back seat, but the boy is still very much prominently in every scene crying his eyes out. Honestly though Sadaf just needs to fully ignore and block out Ammar which she hasn’t been able to do. I can’t see Bilal wanting to start anything until she does that. He will always wonder what her motivations are otherwise. Stop inviting him in, serving him tea, saying things like she will take him back if he does A, B or C. She may not mean it but nothing can happen until she cuts ties even when he is super persistent

These days I am rewatching mann mayal and I can't believe Maya and Haseeb collaborated for such a classic drama like mann mayal and landed up in sunn mere dil? What were they thinking when they signed this drama? Seriously I am so mad rn for wasting my time in this shit show.
