That is not how the channels are viewing it clearly....they don't think audience watches for any attachment to a character or jodi......they seem to think audience is just watching for the BRAND recognition of the show's title

And again, I'm not saying I agree with them....I'm just pointing out that this is clearly their stance....that is why they don't care about any story or characters having some coherence....cuz they feel they can sell anything under a "brand" name....lol

Leena so far has not demonstrated she has Gul level of skills in setting up new generations with same title character name

See...Imlie could survive coz they introduced a new ML who could attract new fans and at the same time hold on to atleast some of the OG fans...aur titular character was unchanged and remained young...titular had a child with the ML...so audience accepted next gen..
