I agree. We spoke about it too. It was very out of cktr considering Bilal was talking about Sadaf reconciling with Ammar just before on the phone and then after when he talks to the mother. A more stealthy jhijhak wali longing glance would have made sense. Because a man who is advising a woman to give her marriage a second chance wont be eyfu***ing her so blatantly in her doorstep and giving such overt come hither i'll-show-you-a-good-time-now-that-you-are-a-free-woman look (to paraphrase marina ). it was a sexy look but didn't make sense to me in that context. The eyelock in the office seem was more contextual and impactful.

Obviously yes we want them in more projects where actually they need to be given screenspace as leads and story should be around them.

They had great chemistry in JBG but SMD has pretty much ensured that they would be never cast opposite each other again.

SMD is a dhabba on all the actors' careers..it has given them fame but negatively.

I am done with them. Sorry. I want fresh new pairings. I'm done with 2nd 3rd chances. Stars cannot take viewers for granted. Ek ke baad ek wasted potential project is not something I have any sympathy for anymore.

KDH ladies have said multiple times that a project like this affects careers. When your project doesnt work or the project is such a disaster, it affects actors' credibility, the type of projects they are considered for, but also their ad rates. Such actors are not as attractive to advertisers anymore. Sadia said quite harshly ke stardom sustain karne ke liye acting projects have to work.

P.S. I have been personally very disappointed in Maya's acting in SMD and I would want to see Wahaj work with better calibre actresses. And no more romances for a while please.

Everyone feels like that...even in the YT/Insta comment section people are saying the same thing that they dont have scenes together but people do want to see them together.

I just hope they chose script wisely next time..it actually feels bad to see the wasted potential..

I think Wahaj and Maya thought that no matter how terrible the script was..since Haseeb is known for giving commercially hit movies and all he would somehow save it and give it a mass appeal. But it totally became a disaster. That's really unfortunate. I dont know how PTV works but having good relations with directors and producers matter a lot..I dont see any other reason for Maya-Wahaj saying yes to the project.
