Because she is not a liar,cheater and manipulative like Ammar...she wants to come clean that she met Bilal and whatever conversations they had. I would have called it two timing if she herself went to reconcile with Ammar after the dinner date.

why did she want to come clean? this is the real question. if she is done with ammar, what was the need to tell him everything? it looked like she was still in relationship with ammar. she wanted to tell him each and every detail.
