To understand SMD's philosophy, you need to understand KRQ's real life philosophy. The guy believes that there is no such thing as one sided love and if someone doesn't love you back then you have made the wrong choice , it's time to move on and give your love to someone who is truly deserving of it. Now that philosophy can apply to almost everyone in SMD.

These two guys didn't give Sadaf any time at all. Are Ammar's words of love true? or are her growing feelings for Bilal real? She needed time to understand all of this, but she didn’t get it. Even BA also rushed quite a bit in proposing marriage. He could have waited a little. He should've tried to understand what S thinks about him. But no, he just couldn't wait. Both of these guys are equally responsible for today's situation.

The writing brought up iddat ompliance multiple times so it's clearly a thing in this universe. Farzana telling Sadaf ke kya mazhab ko nahi maanti. Tham jao. Farzana telling Bilal he can't meet Sadaf but to talk to her on the phone. Sadaf saying on the phone to BA I couldn't meet you when you came. Sadaf wearing dupatta on her head in the office. You can't keep bringing in iddat compliance and then expect people to ignore. Otherwise do it like Noor Jahan did. When Sumbul got divorced and was staying at Noor Bano's, NB introduced her to her cousin, the cousin drops Sumbul off to work, her proposes to her and they have breakfasts and dinners together. This could or could not be happening during iddat we dont know but iddat or iddat compliance was never brought up once in NJ. If you r going to ignore iddat then do it like NJ. Pehle khud iddat ka whole bajao then treat it so cavalierly and then ask ppl to ignore.

Also there are taboos people overlook and are normalized on ptv and those that aren't. Iddat is just not one of those things people are conditioned to ignore on tv if its btought up. In MJ people were pissed that are they showing Alia marrying Ibrahim day after her husband divorces her. But they clarified with a dialogue in next episode that she did her iddat first.

but she was not in iddat when she danced with ammar 🤣 also she was getting married to him next day.

people take iddat quite seriously in pakistan. even i get surprised seeing how people are touchy about iddat here.

this was a transition itself. she went from covering to uncovering her head.

@bold: they don't want people to ignore it. they have clearly shown sadaf violated iddat.
