i think siya ke ram was the first

where i heard the name

lavanya

in that

vibhishan wife named

antara

as per my knowledge

in valmiki ramayan

her name is sarama

maybe they took some other source

or used fictional name

for both of them

do you know any version

Actually i heard about this show when i was watching Vanshaj last year , one of the actors (Gireesh Sahdev) posted in his insta that he was lending his voice for Vibhishan in this Hanuman show.....thought of watching it back then but didn't, now after seeing this review I'm not sure that I'll be watching it

In the Hindi version? His voice was good.

I may be wrong since I don't actually know Hindi but... the language style used here is not pure Hindi (I feel so).

I think it has a lot of Rajput/Urdu mixed into it but I could be wrong.

I have heard/read the names Sunayna and Chandhrabhaga before but not sure where I got them from. Valmiki Ramayana doesn't mention much about Seeradhwaja and Kushadhwaja's wife/wives. I have to look it up again. Never heard of Lavanya so far... Tere is a possibility that people those days had multiple names and Lavanya could be another name or a description of the woman.

Sarama being Vibhishan's wife was something I knew long back, again not sure of the source. It was Sarama who stays with Sita, initially trying to convince her to marry Ravana but later becomes her supporter. As Rama reaches Lanka with Sugreev and the vanars, Ravan created the illusory head to deceive Sita. It was then Sarama points out to the grieving Sita that it was an illusion and she tells Sita that Rama has arrived. She then asks if she wants to pass on any message to Rama but Sita asks her to find out Ravan's plan. This role is taken up by Trijata in Shrimad Ramayan. Sarama does so and passes on information through Anala, Kala and Trijata. I am not sure if all of them are her daughters or if one was the daughter and the others her friends. Also Tarani/Taranisen is almost never mentioned (he is mentioned in Krittivas Ramayan, I think) Vibhishan's son (SKR mentions his story as per Kirtivas Ramayan).

maybe two wives each

and one daughter born to each of them

valmiki ramayan mentions

sita mother

as janak chief wife

even ram charit manas says the same

just in this version

her name is given

same could be said regarding wives of kushadhvaj

it's just my personal opinion
