For this fast love track to make sense and the quick moving on from Maheen, the only thing that makes sense is Rahim was attracted to Aiman from day 1 but he kept his desire buried because he was already in a relationship and disrupting that relationship would have lots of consequences for his father’s Izzat and business since he relied on Maheen’s father for a lot of favors.

Somehow his ‘dil mein dabi khwahish poori’ ho gayi and once Aiman lowered the barriers between them, he began flooding her with all feelings he had suppressed. That would explain the fast love track.

I also love that Rahim thinks of Aiman in context of future as well. He keeps referring to ‘Nikah ho gaya’ as if it’s a one and done deal and also while going to the doctor said it’s important to go for her health, for his sake and their future as well.

I do wonder if he was ever like this with Maheen in their initial courtship phase or was it more like Zulfiqar chose him to be the damad, Ali Nawaz agreed, and the couple settled into this “arranged” situation

About Rahim & Maheen, Rahim ke side se dekhaa jaaye toh quite possible! But Maheen has every right reason to fall in love with Rahim! It could be her father giving in to her zidd, as he also loved Rahim as a person, Ali Nawaz ka qabil beta & a smart businessman!
