As per valmiki Ramayan when Raja Janak was plowing the field for a yagna he found a baby there. And he found her by the tip of the plow. And he took her in as his own.
There was a podcast once done by a saintly guy he said in that era bhoomija was referred to someone whose parents are unknown. They were all called children of earth because they are born on this earth. He said do not take every word written as literally. Thry were written in poetic way for people to remember but you have decode it.
Ayonija is when mother is unknown.
Also during Ramayan or Mahabharat era we mostly hear about girls being adopted .
Another instance , when valmikiji says saryu nadi water tasted like sugarcane . It means rivers and its tributuries were clean and no littering and people only took resources from nature as much as needed and gave back to nature as well.
also if you read or listen to bal land of valmiki Ramayan; the people were more open minded then tv shows are trying to show people of that era.
It’s so sad we do not read or even try to listen and we believe tv shows.
just some fun facts i thought about sharing about Ramayan . lol 😂
