Instead, audience would be pissed off from them..There was nothing to look forward to such an opportunist & bhagoda family. No strong element. Such unlikeable characters should've been forgotten for good but Ganja is bringing them back. I hope it's not true, and the new Chavans would be a completely unrelated family

Since Ghum's inception, family of MLs used to be vile & regressive, but the parents of both the FLs of Ghum be it Kamal Joshi or SAIRAT, were heroic, generous, strong, courageous beings & much loved characters, that's why so much zeal & strong emotions for both Sai & Savi.. Looks like, norm reversed, this time family of Gen 3 FL would be a downgrade & spineless flippers . No heroic, only cowardice.

Abhimanyu died too but that was better than marrying Akshu, if Sai and Virat were alive they would have taken care of Savi then she would have met Rajat as an IAS officer

That was the best thing she acknowledging her mistake , Savi was a well written character there was no much OTT drama or stubbornness in her ...She never made use of others esp her partners ..Even for an imaginary character she suffered a lot so seeing Savi getting a happy ending is really good .She finally achieved her " goal" of becoming an IAS officer also ....Savi is a well written 👏 character ....Seeing Savi getting happy ending I might try the new leap too
