Erm. What is this I used to belong to an ordinary working class working in regular Tech Industry (entry level) and even then my Cashless mediclaim of 8-10 Lakhs would be processed within 1-2 hrs when I needed it.

Such dumb questions by media really. It all depends on how the insurance was bought AND the Insurance company itself. Nothing to do with ‘who it is being paid for’.

And i think thy have family insurance also. So all 4 ppls allocation can be used up for one person if needed. Depends on how much thy r insured for and the premium they pay also.

For upper middle class working I think we go by family floating of ~10-15 Lakhs now. I would expect celebrities keeping it in this range for an individual while for family of 4 could be floating ~1 cr. This looks very normal to me for Saif alone even.
