That fits to the doubts I had from the beginning about the police's work. Actually they should have known the first day that they had the false guy by comparing with the fingerprints (usually taken the same day of the incident).

With the kind of work done from police's side, it could very well happen that this incident will remain a 'treasure chest' for rumour, gossip and imagination
