Sometimes they purposely predict higher numbers just as a means of making the movie seem more in demand than it is. Another marketing tactic.

As for Akshay, he’s got a couple of comedies coming up and those might give him the hits he desperately needs. Otherwise he may have to take a break for a couple of years and then come back as supporting roles. But I don’t know if his ego is ready for that.
