The story is definitely not going there..
See every dialogue by hero/heroine has got a significance in the story..
You remember Bilal's first dialogue when he says "barbaad kar degi lekin peeche mudke nahi dekhegi"..that's what has exactly happened in the show till now right?
So when Bilal has said that "you seemed to me like a new Sadaf" so that means the realizations have started changing Sadaf.
We are at the last 1/3rd of the story now.. everything depends on how they execute the climax.
@bold: this dialogue means nothing. he rejected ammar repeatedly but still married him.

Just that clip is sufficient to see his arrogance and how unlikeable he is.
That would be problematic though because a lot of Sadaf’s mom’s advice has been regressive. Her telling Sadaf to not leave her husband in hopes that another man will be there for her in itself isn’t problematic. It’s all the other advice that goes with it. Sadaf has plenty of reasons to leave Ammar but her mom acts like those are not valid reasons. She puts the blame on her for not trying hard enough. There’s no way they can justify her taking Ammar back.Originally posted by: wildflower9
i think they will end up making her mother right.
as far as i have noticed, they have never shown her mother in bad light.
they have shown that sadaf makes mistakes and wrong decisions but her mother is always right.
whatever sadaf will do, there will be a revenge element. if she start pursuing bilal before the divorce is done, her mother will definitely turn out to be the right one in the end.

SMD was never promoted as path breaking drama,it was promoted as romance. And Bilal's love for Sadaf is how it love should be.And I would rather prefer heroes who has flaws like Bilal drinking as coping mechanism for his grief but a kind and progressive human being who sees the woman he loves as a human being and respects her choices and consent instead of so called perfect heoes who have anger issues and abuse and ra@e their wives
Ra8pe their wives? I think in recent times no PTV had male leads who did it, except probably Murtasim which was also somehow edited out from the show. Bilal is not a great character either unless the depth of his character’s grief, and emptiness is explored which obviously they aren’t. And SMD was definitely promoted as a mega part breaking project, Geo was hoping it’ll be another KAM3 or Tere bin in terms of popularity which it isn’t. Hence the back lash.

the only thing is, she should get the divorce process completed first and only then she should pursue bilal. if she starts a relationship with bilal before the divorce is done, there are very low chances she will end up with him.
after divorce, her mother won't stop her from anything.
her mother wants her to give her marriage another chance probably bcoz ammar doesn't want to leave her. she might be thinking sadaf can bring him on right path.
She has decided to divorce him and is living Separately. So it is done.If Ammar refuses to divorce her our of spite it is not her fault. She is allowed to move on.That doesn't make hee grey.Originally posted by: wildflower9
i have seen a lot of his shows and i have never seen any of his righteous ML/FL pursuing another person before the divorce is done. if sadaf does this, she is definitely somewhat grey. so there are chances she will end up with the grey character.
Murtasim did it.Then bahot gaaliya Padhi and they had to add a lame voice over to make it look like it was Meerub who forced him lol.And it is block buster drama. No amount of explored depth of an abusive male lead makes a character great.Bilal is a wayyyyy better person than Murtasim. He doesn't abuse the woman he loves.Originally posted by: MiVida_Messi

There is a thing called character development. So Sadaf has done a mistake of choosing a man in past so it should define her whole life even after she leaves that man and move on?Originally posted by: wildflower9

She owes her abusive ex nothing. She will serve him divorce and her job will be done.Hate those characters who self sabotage them om order to seem righteous infront of a regressive society.Originally posted by: wildflower9
i watched scenes after her marriage. it means she totally changed herself to make her marriage work but still it didn't.
sadaf is another case. she is on revenge mode. if sadaf is righteous, she should end her marriage first, get the divorce process completed and only then she should pursue bilal. just like mehwish did in manjali.
