No I was talking about old ITV serials

In general,I feel SMD story isn’t that bad but the way the script is executed is really bad and thw way the show has been treated is really bad.

Yes old ITV shows are best like shararat, hum Paanch, movers and shakers, heena, just mohabbat, qubool hai, jhansi ki rani, Og Pavitra rishta etc.

I agree whole heartedly. Hate against Maya is unfathomable. Wahaj is given all benefit of doubt. Fans are trying to sort out his future choices for scripts with such kindness. Me being a Wahaj fan is surprised with this mentality. I barely know any other paki actors other Wahaj and Yumna. Still I can’t spew so much nasty words for maya. Every day some new posts are created to bash her. I would have lost my mental balance.

Everything went wrong for this show. First of all it is not a Wahaj show. So the marketing and promotions are completely false.

Direction and execution is flawed. But all the criticism is for the writer. I understand that KRQ is not a loved person in Pakistan but why are we bashing him when the direction is bad?

Maya Wahaj both acting is not consistent but Maya bashing is on a different level.

Humshaa is a negative character which Hira is acting very well. Nothing against her but her character is negative. This is the first show where ppl are rooting for an angel like character BA with the vamp of the show. It’s unhealthy. Whose fault is that?

Ammar is played very well by usama but can we root for that kind of character?

but the truth is people can tolerate such intimacy between a married couple on ptv. but not between unmarried people.

The truth is everybody wanted another murtasim in SMD. Push n pull, flirting, borderline abusive and a little aggressive, forceful. Sadly all these character traits are being associated with the alpha male characters.

I totally agree with whatever you said..more than the writing,fault lies in storytelling. I mean BA scenes with Humsha is really uncomfortable to me IDK why specially the last scene of the last episode...and it is shocking that people are actually shipping them...just because of hatred for Sadaf..I mean come on,Sadaf was already falling for Bilal until Humsha manipulated her..and than she acts like she cares so much in front of Bilal.

Sadaf is not a bad person,she is just someone who made wrong decisions in life...just because of other people..she doesn't have the manipulative quality which Ammar,Humsha and Dania are having.

Someone please tell me..has this scene already aired? If yes than in which episode?

i would say tere bin was copied from ITV, not SMD.

someone wrote that KRQ copies ITV and SMD is copied from YRKKH, which is not true. KRQ is a unique writer who has his own vision.

interestingly, in SMD most of these alpha male things are done by the grey-shaded character ammar

SMD is a lot better than tere bin. i don't even count tere bin in good shows list. also they changed the ending on public pressure 🤪

i like this thing about KRQ that he doesn't let anyone make even slight changes in his script.
