for shahnawaz his mother was his top priority and his mother have soft corner towards her brother and his daughter it's mother wish to have Amal as daughter in law it was like we saw our siblings children as our and we adore them , shahnawaz doesn't have playboy or Casanova type character even he is arrogant,shady, selfish and self obsessed character but he is a gentleman who knows to respect womens. when ever mehru makes him uncomfortable or nervous or give him though time he runs to Amal so she will massage his ego and satisfied him by spending time with him that's why mehru called Amal ,shahnawaz's entertainment.
Amal and shahnawaz does not have physically intimacy with each other he takes care of her ,take her on shoppings , lunch, dinner entertain her but he never attracted towards her not by her character and not by her physical appearance.

It's ptv and shanno is not shown to be someone who sleeps around. Before mehru his only aim was to run his business and enter politics and hardly cared for Amal. Then mehru happened and he got really angry and disappointed when he thought mehru thinks he is a cheap guy who takes advantage of girls. Then all he does is day dreams about mehru and even in his dream it's all pg 13
. He got a mini stroke when Amal tried to touch him in front of mehru.
Mehru calls Amal his entertainment because she hangs out with him and make him stay away from mehru. She is his cousin and childhood friend. He does care about her.
Finally, binge watched the show! Hoping Shah will grow a backbone and will not get married. I do think Mehru will leave him in the end.

Seeing that the craze and hype around the show is solely due to the lead pair i doubt they will show mehru leaving him. At most she will leave him for a brief time and he will show two three of his crocodile tears and she will come back esp if he flows those crocodile tears in front of sadia
He needs to learn a lesson though! I want her to leave him for him to realize.
