social capital is a real thing. social capital banana mushkil hai. usse mushkil hai agar social capital kho jaye toh usko regain karna. 25 years tak salman khan gave hit films but giving the likes of race 3, raadhe and kissi ka bhai kissi ki jaan, salmon ki social capital gir gayi, and tiger 3 made much less money than it should have. akshay also by giving back to back duds has lost audience trust. ab koi theek thaak akshay film bhi aati hai toh koi dekhne nahi jaata. when stars that gave hits after hits for 25+ years can lose social capital after few back to back disappointments, toh wahaj ko sochna chahiye what these choices would mean.

I guess in this case with the hype the writer KRQ had no big star would have rejected Bilal role . Same reason was gentlemen was signed. Even though SMD is not much liked viewers likes and appreciates his acting as Bilal so it’s not that much damaging, hope he gets good script later. Also getting good scripts and opting is a matter of luck too.

I guess even channel wouldn’t have thought KRQ script will be that bad.

the thing is when danish and feroze did those crap dramas, they got double digit TRPs and billions of views. On the other hand, SMD is a flop. Those were also ML-centric dramas where the character DT and FK played was pure fan service (it's like if Wahaj had played Murtasim-like cktr in another drama like tb). So, while those dramas of DT and FK were only a critical failure, smd is critical, commercial and fan service failure.

krq never writes women who will continue to stay with a woman who slaps her. krq is a misogynist but his breed of misogyny is not the abla naari roti dhoti aurat type. in krq's world men are becharas. women are the cruel seductress dominatrix types who torture men.

Here’s my prediction. Ammar would break his ties with Dania this week . She as a parting gift will tell Sadaf that Ammar never crossed his boundaries with her and was always loyal to Sadaf only .

That would be Ammar’s redemption too . He would free Sadaf and unite her with Bilal.

This exactly my point..!! Its mainly the dragging which has been the biggest enemy of the drama..Firstly the story is slow,on the top of it they are dragging..its actually frustrating..!!

Let's not get started about reviewers ...SH and Fuschsia are still somewhat okay..but KDH people ka review feels like bullying.

Yea SH, Fuschsia and even Maliha rehman say it’s pathetic script but not bully actors. They praise the actors at same time and actually they acknowledge Wahaj is carrying the drama and also included him in best actor 2024 list for SMD and later deferred as show isn’t ended. They also praise some dialogues too . KDH no matter how much hard work actor has done and how good he has performed they are just bullying. They simply didn’t get drama itself and mostly they want real stories else it’s bad. I get irked and irritated with their review. It’s too much. Rating badly actors just for views. If they wanna do mimicry they can do that simply and not do review and rate. They can rename their show to Drama Mimicry. Critics their have very less knowledge too on different genres of drama.

In all honesty, what redeeming qualities do you feel Ammar has? From the moment we have seen him, he has been manipulative, fake and greedy. I think cheating isn’t redeemable but that isn’t even the point. It’s how he’s doing it. He’s cheating on Sadaf while getting upset for her basically doing day to day activities such as eating and sleeping while he’s with Dania. He makes her out to be the bad guy while he plays the victim. He can’t even accept his mistakes. The slap just gave her more reason to leave but there was enough problematic behaviour before that even happened.
