I think Anupamaa remained #1 because of their brilliant ability to make fool out of their viewers. Promos managed to make people believe multiple times that may be now Anupamaa will take the much awaited flight of her destiny, only to realize everytime that they were deceptive promises, but hopes managed to make people wait. This marvellous skill to fool people is now missing. That undying sheer spirit to make idiots out of ur audience needs to be rivived. That's the only thing that can make them no 1 again. If their old ways are not working then no problem they should innovate other ways to trick people. There is dire need for them to become unapologetic serial foolers once again.

TRPs are no indicator of likeability.

Whatever inquisitiveness was aroused out if hope for atleast one good deed, one good decision, one right thing that Anupama would do. But alas, none happened and now, with the show being in the news for ALL the wrong reasons, people have lost interest and hope.
