It’s very stupid because the whole 3rd gen was about a highly educated and sought after surgeon falling for an artsy singer and trying to make his rigid family respect her and her music therapy.

Imlie was more understandable because she was actually brought up rurally. Anupama has a Gujarati accent and I have Gujju relatives (BIL is Gujarati) and actual Gujaratis do have a little accent like that. Not as hard.

But in Udne, the Marathi accent only shows up with the ML who acts with a 70-80s ka tapori gunda accent. There should be a difference between Marathi and gunda accent. His father has a more natural accent.

Has anyone watched Gouri Shankaram? It’s an adaptation of Pratigya. I haven’t watched it completely but have caught snippets of it when it used to come at night. They tried to show a Thrissur accent. I have a lot of family from Thrissur. None of them talk like that. Thrissur accent *1000 it was which even my aunt hated - she is married to a man from Thrissur 😂

You should watch some episodes from the middle. Mahesh genuinely liked Ishitha once upon a time and talked to his friend about her. After she made him lose custody of Chippy is when he started disliking her. But Ishitha would let him see Chippy so he became cordial with her. He also smiles more than Raman. If they make him angry like Raman, I hope they give him nice one liners and funny dialogues like Raman.

I understand the political track but don’t get his brother’s role. I don’t understand his connection with Akash.

I have a feeling that Vinod will keep helping Akash and politician but in the end will expose them and come in the good books of his family. After he helps them, the mms truth will come out and again enmity etc etc.

What is a Thanjavur wedding? They should have shown one family as Mallu and other as Tamil toh samajh bhi aata.

In anupama nobody speaks like Anupama.its too much.She wasnt even saying thanks properly.

i have seen a few scenes of GS just because it's pratigya.Actually in my building there is a family from thrissur.they speak like that.Actress renuka menon used to speak like that in the beginning.But other people from Thrissur i know do not speak like that.

In yhm romi was grey.but he used to love raman.but here he is double faced and doesn't like raman too.I don't really understand why he hates both mahesh and ishita and helping akash to ruin ishita.Can you please tell me?

iyers speak like typical malayalees. They don't use any tamil word.Mahesh's mom says that they are from Tanjore.Are they malayalees from Tanjore or tamilians?

Mahesh’s family is Tamilian. His mother uses Tamil phrases. They should have made them Iyers and Ishitha’s family Malayalee. It would make more sense.
