None of our players made a century in the second innings, but we collectively completed 100 pages in this thread.
Congratulations to us.
Cheers..

I feel bad for Bumrah
Dude was literally one man army
Rohit has not been using the bowling unit well, and the field placement was bad.

While Pant is being blamed the most, even Virat and Rohit threw away the wicket. Had Pant and Jaiswal continued for 5-6 more overs things could have been better
Total no of runs scored by rohit in this series=no of wickets taken by bumrah
Pat Cummins wins the Johnny Mullagh medal for the Player of the Match, named after the star player on the 1868 Aboriginal tour of England.
Rohit Sharma: "It is pretty disappointing. It's not that we went in with the intent of giving up the fitght. We wanted to fight till the end and unfortunately we couldn't do it. It'll be tough to assess just the last two sessions. If you look at the overall Test match, we had our chances, but we didn't take them. We had Australia 90 for 6. We know things can get tough, but we want to play tough cricket from hard situations. I don't want to look at one situation. We were not good enough. I went back to my room and thought about what else we could have done as a team, but we threw everything we had, but they fought hard, especially that last-wicket partnership, which probably cost us the game there. We knew 340 wasn't going to be easy. We tried to set a platform and keep wickets in hand for the last two sessions, but they bowled perfectly as well. We wanted to go for the target, but we didn't set the platform from our side. There are ways to win games and we fell short in finding ways to win games. [On NKR:] He's coming here for the first time, these conditions can get really tough, but he showed great character, solid technique as well. He's got everything to be successful at this level, I hope he goes from strength to strength, and he's got all the backing from the team as well. [On Bumrah:] Absolutely brillaint, we've been watching him for so many years now, coming here and getting the job done. He's not a statistical person, just wants to play for the country and do well for the team, but unfortunately he's not got a lot of support from the other side."
There were lots of ebbs and flows throughout this game. Australia's mammoth score of 474 in the first innings pushed India on the back foot. In response, India had managed a good foothold on the game but Jaiswal's dicey run-out opened things up. Nitish Reddy emerged as the hero for the visitors as he scored his maiden Test ton under testing circumstances. But, Australia ended up gaining a 105-run lead and that proved to be substantial. It was a terrific fightback from India with Bumrah at the helm of affairs and Siraj gave him good company. India could have even gained an advantage if Jaiswal had held onto Labuschange's catch when Australia were effectively 204/6. Jaiswal dropped three catches and two of them were fairly easy. And that last wicket stand of 61 between Lyon and Boland hurt India. It's a game of inches and Australia were able to come out triumphs when it mattered the most.

Stupid pant threw his wicket again...It was not that tough task for him to clinch a draw...Not saying anything about Rohit n kohli because there was never any expectation from them - so they dont frustrate anymore..
