According to Sacnilk morning occupancy on Friday was under 6%. I’m sure the cancelled shows reports are accurate.
And why would anyone lie about it now? Even under the best of circumstances this weekend this movie wasn’t going to break any records after the low opening day. It honestly never posed any threats to anyone else’s numbers or records. Whatever low numbers and failures it’s facing is its own.
Varun’s best bet is the lighthearted romcoms. His next with Janhvi and Dharma is basically along the lines of his Dulhania series. That’s his best shot at bouncing back.
