We have lost the plot completely ... Captain is just not performing at all and totally low on confidence..The whitewash against NZ should have served a grim warning ...We can keep blaming selection, batting order etc etc but fact is those on ground have to show results ... In bowling department bumrah alone cannot carry the weight ...In batting department the less said the better ...Presently it seems our batsmen bat well only in the nets ...
About Jaiswal - getting runout in test cricket when you are well set and team needs you to build long innings and you end up doing harakiri - so sad. And Rohit's dismissal like today was totally his fault. No great bowling. Frankly I was expecting 0-5 after NZ debacle on home pitches. Many will get me wrong and probably even troll me but I still am with Rohit Sharma... Yes he has failed miserably. He also hasn't performed when he is being needed the most ...
But somewhere Being a born and bred Mumbaikar and somewhere that innate Marathi Manoos spirit gently prods me to Support a Captain who has given us a trophy to cheer despite all odds and Gods not favouring him ( ODI 2023 ) ..
