India didn't take much time to take the last three Aussie wickets. Bumrah finished with a 4-fer. 474 was a big first innings score. Rohit promoted himself to open the innings and the ploy didn't work.

Rohit needs to be more patient and concentrate more when he's on the crease.

He got himself into a tangle to a sharp away seaming delivery and his half-hearted pull shot costed him his wicket as he fell to Cummins for the seventh time in thirteen innings. Rahul came in at No. 3 and looked solid once again. He showed astute technique and played a few glorious shots as well. Jaiswal also played solidly at the other end as the duo saw off the threat of Starc. It would have been a great session for India but Cummins' worked his magic as he knocked over Rahul with a jaffa at the stroke of tea. The Aussies will keep coming hard at the Indians.
