The show needs to be well written , doesn’t matter how many leads are there. More than views or trps, Wahaj needs to bring back his credibility.

Ya he needs to move away from this romance/chemistry crap and try other genres.

If we go by the YT comments section of these videos , Wahaj and Maya are the worst couple of 2024 by far. Like I said, I haven't seen an onscreen couple being hated so much. And you think their romance is going to save SMD ??

I take all my words back tbh..I had hopes that may be the romance factor in the last 10-15 epis can at least save the show.

Unfortunately,this show has got so much of negative attention and troll that now no amount of romance can salvage the damage done.

Sadaf's character was a big let down...hero and heroine is supposed to give you relief as soon as they appear onscreen..but all the interactions bilal sadaf had are good no doubt but makes you angry and frustrated instead of relief.....even if sadaf now gives her life to save Bilal none is gonna ship bilal sadaf anymore.

I hope the entire team including actors take the negative feedback and never repeat these mistakes.

JBG is proof that you don’t need romantic scenes to show chemistry.

Ultimately it depends on the show. If the show is good then the couple would automatically be appreciated. If you notice that all the best couples are from shows which have been acclaimed or liked, while the worst ones are from terrible shows. There are few exceptions like Hiba-Danish or YumHaj who can shine anywhere.

Even I felt that was really unfair because they hardly had 5-6 scenes but none of them was romantic and the last one before marriage was more of an emotional scene than romantic scene. But may be the critics are right..they have seen enough of dramas to analyse who has bad chemistry right from the start.

I understand the frustration of people but tbh Sadaf's character has been very unlikable till now...even if romance develops in future,I dont think the show is picking up..it will always be trolled.
