I think you're underestimating Atlee's hold on the masses. The film is getting a large release(3500+ screens) which was the major issue earlier. Pushpa 2 is slowing down especially on the weekdays. The promotions have been aggressive and the action genre is front loaded(big openings). Most importantly, Christmas day is one of the busiest days of the year in theaters.

15+ Cr at the very least with that sort of promotions, screen share and Christmas.

30-35cr opening

I agree with your overall verdict, and your reasons for it. I’m not sure about opening numbers. On the one hand the movie doesn’t really have any buzz at all. On the other hand holiday openings can be unpredictable sometimes, and there is also the possibility of corporate booking 🤷🏽‍♀️
