The next 10 episodes of go ahead ..till episode 21 ..

I've seen so many shows with difficult parents, ones which are biased , ones which are pushy , greedy , selfish , ones who don't care , but never saw someone as cruel as this woman , Ling xio's mother ! What a terrible situation he was in..a teenage boy was manipulated into tc of a woman who he despise , who abandoned him at a young age , totally acted psycho with him , even put him in the guilt of killing her sister , never understood his trauma ..and there he was , he gave up his beautiful family & people to fulfill his filial duty & tc of that moron young sibling of his who became ungrateful and thankless like her mother ! My heart went out to him , I felt like crying just by looking at his sad face ..what all he internalized n went through ..

His only comfort was Jianjain and his foster family ..ones who could pull him out of this pit and normalize him ..

So jianjian took her time to warm upto her brothers who she lost connect with ..it's quite natural I believe ..there was years of anger , resentment , that they didn't even come bk once in all these years , there was insecurity , that they might leave again so why get attached and go through the heart break again, there was also a need ,a craving to be back with them..with all this , it was her life , her career , friends that she had to take care of.. she grew up into a lovely woman & I totally love her ..

Ziqiu , I love him so much ! If Ling xio was on his mother, ziqiu was very much like his mother ..😁 I give a damn kind if attitude, I want what I wNt and if I don't have it I will get it ..compared to the cruella mother , his mother was still better , at least she didn't put his son in crisis ..she kinda helped him at a crucial stage otherwise haichao would be ruined by his bio father ..it's not about motherly feelings or anything, it's about sticking up to her decision to give his son to haichao .

It's heart warming to see both the fathers bonding..I mean they have each other & they never felt the need to marry again ..that's shown so beautifully ..

Coming to the next aspect of the show..

They did so much of elder brother younger sister thing that watching these triangles were a bit awkward..or was it the translation thing? Everyone was talking about their marriage , I guess it was OK to do so ..

So there were quite a lot of triangles n the story is very entangled right now..both the boys love the same girl , her friends also fell for the wrong boys and will suffer heart break ..

I wish it was simpler..

Although I feel ziqiu and jianjian are more suited to each other but probably they will go the other way ..Ling xio loves her and she loves him too so they should be together..n he also deserves that kind of love , attention and care after what he went through..he needs rhe cocoon & ziqiu will hopefully find a better partner ..he's emotionally stronger , he can take the heart break ..I feel saddened to write this but then ..it's ultimately abt what jianjian wanted so ..

I rarely not like any characters but his mother I hated, the cruel one. I couldn't bear her. Though his sadness had grew on me and show felt very heavy for those parts. For the rest, don't take it to heart... they have shown it gradually... the heartbreak might not happen

Did you not find the older brother younger brother wanting a diff kind of relationship very odd ?

I mean they could've kept it like that if they were to get them romantically involved later ..but then I noticed all the gfs bfs called eo brother / sister only 🙄

Some of the scenes were taken as casually funny while they were not ..like her reading those kind of books & the moment when both of them discovered that they were in love with the same girl ..

I have to ignore that aspect as it's not much talked about also .like I said I'll take it as a translation mistake..or the oppa culture in Korea 😆

Initially they might have wanted to show the bond of the chosen family, so the sibling-sibling they played. Grown up with boys, she was bold and badass - to show that, they had shown few things - which were not necessary.

Boys knowing they like the same girl was not much shocking to them, may be because they were prepared for it, since childhood. At least I was. I thought she liked their neighbour from the start, in the second half, it got a little messy and she was confused.

You're right..ignore is the best solution. 😆

Whatever it was , I found it hilarious when ziqiu proposed her 🤣 the way she reacted was too funny ..she was dealing with one of them and now there were 2..but all said & done , he didn't have that kind of a feeling for her that's for sure..may be the urge to protect her & be closer to the family officially ..but when she openly discussed Intimacy he was as uncomfortable .

Whatever , all this didn't change anything between them , that's the best part ..she made sure it stays as it is ..

I love her character btw ..I said previously, Ling xio was on his mother , ziqiu on his mother and she was Def on her father 😄 spreading love , happiness and positivity to all ..

Almost towards the end of the show , I've finished episode 32 ..

2 major events that was Ling xio opened up about his Past to jianjian ..my god ! What all this poor boy went through..anyone in his place would turn mad ..his mother was a total freak & her added misery destroyed him inside out ..the only hope that he could go bk to his family & jianjian one day kept him alive probably..she blamed him for being negligent towards his sister when he was a child ..n he developed insomnia now just so that she doesn't do anything stupid & he'd have himself to blame for his entire life.

Gosh I can't imagine being with such a parent ..she was like an evil spirit who latched onto him sucking the life force out of him....this woman makes me feel blessed to be around normal people ..

Glad he took the doctors advice normally..

Jianjian just knew how to comfort him, be with him, and support him..not just him, everyone around her , she was like a support pillar..that scene where she discussed with her father that she's running out of gas , it was so well done 🤩 when she was down , she turned to her father ..then gather the pieces bk and stand up again ..

It was the same with ziqiu..his mother's past was reveal and she slowly crawled bk in haichao's life..

She was a much better person than cheng ting ..still, I was unmoved with her struggles & pain..I appreciate her for not interfering with her sons life once she gave him up ..but that's it ...I felt sad for her , coz every parent might have their reasons but at the end of the day , it's all her mistake to have a child & not care for him ..don't be reckless then to have him in the first place ..her son will probably make peace with his past & he must, for his sake ..n that's fine ..

His struggles on the other hand were heart wrenching.. when he said nobody wants him😢 he was lonely up there ..

Then there was this scene where the family gathers at the dining table & share their grief 🥰 abs wonderful..haichao said he couldn't be a good parent as he could only cook for them..but he couldn't protect them the way he should've ..

Everyone cares for their loved ones..but reaching out to strangers &nurturing these bonds which are not your family, treat them as his own , not everyone can do it & this was haichao , I wish someone cud tell him this..

And then the cruella mother makes a comeback ! Ugh ! This time I hope she gets a reality check from her son ..

I had to ff all the tang can & que ming scenes ..didn't care for another set of nagging parents and their struggles

You're so right..i felt I'm as traumatized by her as her son 🤣

There's no way out with such people isn't it ? They put you on a guilt trip , if something worse happened to her or her daughter coz he didn't take enuf care , he was to be blamed ..and what authority she had to command him ? I wish somebody asked her this..she abandoned him as a child, then expected him to come to her & be her slave .

What's worst is that she was unaffected by his illness too when she heard it from her ex husband . She was still trying to fix him with a girl of her choice 😡

I'm almost at my tipping point , I'll have to ff her scenes otherwise I won't get good sleep 🤣 till now I was watching her in the hope that somebody would call her out ..

In one show , there's a big contrast of the parents..he mei looks like an angel in front of her ..at least she made sure her son is safe secure & doesn't have an identity crisis so she didn't come bk to him to demand anything from him ..even heping was a good parent who cared for his son , this is when he couldn't devote much time..and haichao ofc , he's the gold standard ..the nagging parents of friends of jianjian even they were better although they also unknowingly put their daughters in trauma and tried to live their life through them..zhuo was also better than that evil witch 🫤

No nobody has nerves to call her out.. Even what ling xiao asks is very very little compared to trauma she gave him .. But i loved the dynamics between he ziqui and ling xiao half sister .. He totally puts her in place and makes her grounded.. I loved them there

Yeah overall he ziqui was my favourite amongst men , along with haichao . The actor was very cute too ..I'll watch more of him Def.

The girl I already love , she was great in as beautiful as you & she's better here , I abs adore her ..

Ziqui and his sister yeah ..he completely tranformed her isn't it ? That goes to show how positive environment affects people ..she was with them just for a few days and they had a good positive influence on her ..she was a kid but still, she was her mother's shadow ..didn't care much abt her ..ziqui had the best ending where he was cheerful..ofc jianjian too but more than her I was happy for him..I didn't want him to be paired against little orange , that would be tragedy multiplied !

When the show ended , i cried for 10 mins , when they showed all the flashbacks ..

That had to change that wretched woman also 🥶 she had to attempt suicide to again put her son into abyss of guilt & regret . I cried so much when Ling Xiao asked his father is he now owes nothing to his mother & his sister forgave him 😢 he was doing all this for his mom as a payback to his sisters death ! I could never imagine ..he was a brilliantly written character..
