Chasing the lead of 445 runs, and losing vital wickets at frequent intervals, India has now crossed the 246 run mark which means Australia cannot enforce follow-on and have to bat again which opens up the door of draw for the visitors.

In this scenario, there is every possibility that India will be in a 'safe' position, thanks to rain and the flashy innings from our 8th and 9th batsmen!

Akash and Bumrah frustrated Australia

Both Akash and Bumrah have survived quite a bit here which is frustrating from an Australian perspective. Now Cummins has turned to Nathan Lyon which is what both Bumrah and Akash were hoping for. One interesting thing from Cummins is because of the rain breaks again and again he did not have to resort to his fourth bowlers much and that is where it will be interesting to see if they want India to bat again at all. yes, there is enough break for the MCG Test but they have put in quite an effort here and another 20 overs each will be quite a workload in this game.

It's last day tomorrow...AUS batters will play like T20 and will plan to add quick 100 runs and declare. But It's on our batters solely to not let wickets fall in 2 sessions. Will they throw wickets??? Most of them have played fool by touching wide balls ...why this temptation i still can't get it that too in test match.

There is no way they should aim for victory and fall prey to AUS bowlers. Rather they should focus on draw because 300 bhi karn ain 2 sessions will not be possible.
