I was rewatching Mahabharata in starplus … what a fabulous and well cast show .. definitely the best project in ages from Sitara … but it was mostly no 2 in Trp charts .. the Trp no 1 was Jodha Akbar in zee tv .. I used to wonder how ..

When I later saw Jodha Akbar in YouTube .. even that was fabulous and well cast and had very good performances.. so those were good days of TV… with every character having nuanced roles .. and good characterisation

With the Trp levels these days, you can totally see how low Itv standards have dropped. Like, it’s not just SP, all the channels are flopping. There was a time when Anupama used to hit 2.7 or even cross 2.8 Trp, and now? 2.3 is a big deal, and people are losing their minds over it. 😂 The bar is in hell.

Even Ghum and Rishta used to kill it back in the day. And look at Ghul—she used to be SP's face, and now she’s launching show on Dangal, which literally caters to low-Trp audiences. And her shows? Same copy-paste formula: angry alpha dude, shy bubbly girl. Like, how many times are we supposed to watch the same thing? No wonder Imlie 3 flopped. 💀

Even Ekta’s all Bhagyas are getting offair, but at least she’s got other stuff going on outside Itv. Meanwhile, people like Shahi and Ghul are just milking this one dying cow for all it’s worth.

And forth option is koi popular actor hi hoga new entry hogi show mein as a cameo,that's why so much publicity.

Jodha Akbar was one of the best show of itv and the last good show of Ekta where she was actually involved in the making.

Yeah it was actually one show which was far far better than the one shown in cinema

Rajat Tokas portrayed Akbar much better than hrithik ( who was too unrealistic) ..He should make a comeback .. too good to be idling away

The villains were fabulous shariffudin , Mahamanga and Adham .. seriously when shows like these were on air ..

it was difficult to watch shows like gen 1 gen 2 of candy floss sas bahu
