Very believable...he definitely is someone who has the personality (in movies and as a star) to get very popular

The 'interrogation-stunt' (as I term the last news about Allu Arjun) serve to give Pushpa 2 another push (the decline in the south Indian belt is quite remarkable...and the oversea results don't match the (misused?) hype in the Hindi (= Nothern) belt and neither the whole hype as such:

Contrary to some other big movies, the overseas collection isn't even 20% of the (allegedly) whole income whereas RRR, e.g., had almost 26% and Baahubali 2 also had over 20% (SRK's two biggies, e.g.,had an overseas percentage of Pathaan = more than 37% and Jawan more than 34%, which shows the global impact of an Indian filmstar. One could take other big stars, too, as comparison but it had been SRK who got drawn into this topic).

So, going with the numbers, Allu Arjun is - without any doubt - very successful in India but still has a limited appeal overseas...or, respective to the movie, Pushpa 2 gets the biiiig numbers far more in India (especially Hindi belt) than overseas.

I know .. I think first dubbed movie of his I watched was Arya 2 and then Happy. Ohh what a rage these characters were

His image is nothing like Pushpa if you go back to his filmography and that’s why I think it’s a major advantage that Pushpa became so big, he won’t have to live with the same swag all life

The meltdown/s of few people though, they’re trying to convince us or themselves that Pushpa isn’t as big as numbers project. Lol .. Reminds me of gadar 2 days

Usually the organisers are at fault.

Many days back in another part of India also many ppl died after some Sadhu had a program. But he was not arrested.
