I think by the time they start showing Bilal-Sadaf romance, viewers will lose interest and more so will be aversed 🤕 I genuinely want to watch their journey together but I’m starting to lose my interest & I won’t be able to enjoy those scenes now that Ammar-Sadaf’s lovey dovey scenes will come to haunt me🤮 They’re just overdoing their romance and it’s like rubbing salt into our wounds🤷♀️
But it’s just overkill in my opinion. I think they just don’t want Sadaf to look like she just played Ammar too. She kind of used him in a way at the beginning as means to escape Bilal Abdullah. If she didn’t try with Ammar, it would look like she just ruined his life too. I just feel like there were other ways to do this without getting so touchy feely. Like the scenes didn’t feel romantic but gross.
The only scene or tiny bit of a scene that I liked is when she broke down and started crying after trying to hard to appease Ammar. I’ve seen perfectly strong, confident women turn into something like this in relationships. The way she cried made it clear that she wasn’t enjoying the kind of behaviour Ammar was displaying. He plays mind games with her. When he was nothing to her, she didn’t care but now that she is married to him, she’s taking her vows seriously and is really trying to make an attempt. She’s more sensitive now and has lost herself in the process. And she’s trying way too hard that it’s difficult to watch. And also those scenes are making it so hard to empathize with her because I’m distracted by how gross it all is.
