Her wedding night scene with Ammar where even the English needed English subtitles wasn’t great either. She and Wahaj had almost similar lines about love and God, but while his scene had emotion and impact, she drawled her delivery of those lines as if Sadaf was high.

Both Hira and Wahaj were good in that scene. Humsha is a negative character but good actors sharing screen space will always create impact.

I don’t like how the reviewers are only praising Wahaj but ignoring Hira who was equally good in that scene. It’s like if they have to criticise someone from SMD, they will only criticise Wahaj and if they praise someone, they will also praise only him smiley36

I am sorry...but I think I am the only one here who doesn't find Maya acting faulty...her character is so unlikable that whatever she does seems to be annoying and irritating...sometimes her dialogue delivery could be better I feel.

About the dialogue between love and God,Wahaj had to say this with emotions because he let go the love of his life..but Maya's character is still in the phase of realization...so she cant show emotions there.

Sadaf has actually done more injustice to Ammar than even Bilal IMO First she chose him only to escape from Bilal and now faking her love with him ?? Imagine your wife doubting who she loves , the night you got married to her . Ammar might be problematic but even he doesn’t deserve this.

I think I am the only one here...who is excited for the story aheadsmiley36 Female lead getting married and than getting divorce and having an endgame with male lead is not so uncommon in PTV...

IMO the real story starts now..I want to see how Sadaf's character arc goes because her character has been very unlikable till now...if makers can't make people feel for Sadaf than they can't even start bilsad romance.

Lmao none is praising Hira because she is absolutely pathetic in character and in performance.smiley36 She is only praised for her styling till now and dialogue delivery in last before week episode . Almost everyone got praised by critics. Wahaj is unanimously praised by critics and neutrals . Maya has been praised along with Shahvir and even usama got praised once.

I don’t think she’s a bad actress either. I thought she was really good in the scenes when her dad died and she found out about her father’s illness. She made me cry in those. Honestly though I didn’t love her in the scene after her mayoun when she was talking to Bilal about the dream she had about her father. Maybe it was because her dupatta was covering her face? It was too long of a conversation to have with her face covered. I also thought she was good in the proposal scene even though she didn’t have much to say. Sadaf as a character is tough to like but I find that Maya is doing a fair job in portraying her.

Agreed with most people that Hira was also good in that scene with Wahaj by the pool. I think she was overlooked only because Bilal was going through so many emotions and Wahaj delivered it brilliantly. He had more to do than Hira. I don’t love all her scenes though

I’m torn on this but Ammar is really problematic. Hiding parts of his life…especially the drinking is a huge issue. I’m torn because Sadaf doesn’t know this and kind of used him as a means to escape…so her motives have been a bit selfish. But then Ammar has so many issues, it’s hard to pity him.

I don’t usually agree with these ladies because I feel like they don’t really watch. They have their facts wrong most of the time. For me too, the pace is the biggest culprit. A lot of shows have flaws and inconsistencies but they move fast enough that you just move on to the next thing happening. Here, there’s too much time to linger on these things.
