What she did was extremely bad, naming the baby Ashubh and everything else but that was her pain, jealousy and annoyance. Pain from loosing her baby, jealousy that Abhira's baby was alive when hers wasn't and annoyance at being forced to have a relationship with the baby.

So yeah, she is bad, she did many wrong things, committed a crime too but people tend to ignore the untreated wounds and trauma that led to all this. The ITV makers had always been insensitive towards such characters.

It can definitely but is it being written as her response to the trauma? If they were, they would try to heal it, the scene which came to us was written to show her as evil and Abhira as savior but because they don't want to lose Ruhi's character, they just removed it from their memories, now they don't mention it

Because people are attached to Ruhi, they can use her to trigger audience's hatred, a new character would take time so they keep her like a pendulum

The way majers showed ruhi abd baby… ruhi ko woh baby de de … kafi kam possibilities hai…her INTENTIONS have been EVIL!!! By chance Ho jaata, baat different hoti…. With destructing baby sweater… naming hun Asubh… hoping his death… letting him fall.. etc etc… bhai how can makers make her the mom of the baby!!

But how are they gonna play it out? Kiuke bacha tou phir premature hona chahiye and the nurse definitely came out of Ruhi's room. I don't think its BSP
