Dinner, day two: Another session pocketed by the hosts who now have a lead in excess of 150. Travis Head entertained the crowd and put the Indian bowlers under a lot of pressure. Respected Bumrah and was at his aggressive best against the other bowlers to register his third century in day-night Tests, scoring at a strike rate close to 100. Ashwin bowled decently and got a lucky breakthrough, Siraj picked up a couple of wickets which included the prized scalp of the centurion. He gave Head a send-off which wasn't appreciated by the Adelaide crowd. India leaked a lot of runs in the session and for a moment Bumrah was down needing the physio's attention. However, he continued and cleaned up the Australian captain at the stroke of the break.

And the umpires have decided to take tea. A whirlwind session comes to an end, with Travis Head scoring a smashing 140 off 141 balls. It was not a chanceless innings but it did dent India's chances of a comeback. Australia's lead has now flourished to 152, and they still have two wickets in hand. For India, Siraj picked up two wickets in the session, including that of Head, which was followed by a send-off, verbal volleys from Head and boos from the crowd. There were a few nervy moments for India when Bumrah called the physio to have a look at his groin and shoulder but he was good to continue after a bit of treatment. We will be back soon shortly. Stay tuned.

I am very disappointed with the logic behind different balls...

It has to be universally same kind of ball...

Why they are locally producing ball in the country and forcing the foreign country to play with that???

England - Duke ball

Now Australia - Pink ball

Why???

Please enlighten me ...koi iska age piche ka samjao muje

Shivam: "Boland licking his lips after getting beat by that one - he'll have fun with the pink ball himself soon"

AUS was very smart to dismiss Jaiswal

Who will expect the very first ball to be Yorker and Starc took the wicket

A pink ball test is a day-night Test match in cricket that uses a pink ball instead of the traditional red ball. The pink ball is used to improve visibility under artificial lights, as the red ball is difficult to see at night.
