How did I forget that cliff scene.. Two women pursuing Ling buyi led to death of that poor horse .. C dramas seem to defy gravity in all historical shows.. 😂Like hero flying from one place to another etc

this was still better than many other shows. The Double ML was shown flying down & then back up in a straight line like a spider

Yeah I saw one scene.. Where they go to watch drama and they get attacked there .. Those villains were literally flying across building

I remember the fl once said "did you just fly in here " I dunno how they do it and why , I thought it's their style since it was there in who rules the world & the show I've seen after that..Matlab action shows ..and this is some fantasy element they put in

Who rules the world was a Martial arts based show (i.e. from the introductions itself, ML & FL both were top martial arts masters) so waha chalta hai

But the double wasn't so in that case it was kinda out of place

While in shows like The story of Minglan, The Rebel Princess or even The Long Ballad the action scenes were kept quite real. I would say in case of LLTG too, if we skip the last few episodes baki were well toned-down compared to many of what all I watched till now. In the one I am watching currently, I just saw the ML riding a bamboo stick on air which was thrown by the villain party

Ofc goes without saying ..LLTG is a beautiful show..these things are very minor & they r added just for dramatization..

Okk almost finished love is sweet ..

I've seen the couple previously in till the end of the moon & couldn't complete it coz the ml was tortured endlessly ☹️ and fl acted like a cartoon (Sorry to her fans)

But here they just nail it ..specially the ml ..I was bowled over by his good looks & his smile and his persona and his ..character ..

Initially I was happy this show has 36 epis..bec how it started , I felt this is gonna be another "only for love " for but but unfortunately that wasn't the case..I think 24 epis were enuf , without the psychos & office stuff..

The best part of this show was the romance , it's build up, the childhood connection (I loved it here ) , the kiddish stuff which he does to grab her attention..how he pursues her ..how he finally gets her ..all that uptil epi 21 /22 was just great for me coz I like watching that stuff..the comedy + romance worked well ..

However , what really disappointed me was the female lead ..Jiang Jung..Bai lu was styled much better in only for love ..here they give her oversized outdated coats/pants ..the other girl qiao was styled much better..Bai lu looked much better in only for love ..and her character was the best there ..here , it's a flat line with no growth , no depth and later in the story she acts really dumb 😬

Initially they made her a promising employer but actually she couldn't do anything without his support , professionally or personally ..top of that she throws attitude abt my life my wish I don't need your protection I don't need you to make decisions for me blah blah ! Worst she just couldn't see how this other guy Mr du Lei was pursuing her , she was indulging him inspite of the warnings from her boyfriend & ultimately in the climax when he let him out & tried to molest her , her reaction was "I feel bad for losing a friend " 🫨 cmon woman ! You were an idiot and you deserved a jolt but ur boyfriend was there to save you everytime ..is it so tough so say a simple sorry?any other girl would be traumatized by the experience & they downplayed it to this level:(

In the end when he said when you couldn't tell that I'm in love for you for 10 years , I won't fault you for not knowing du Lei likes you 😵 seriously ! I wish I cud never see their post confession life & rhe 2 yrs leap where she magically gets the vp position 🤪

Reg side characters, I loved her friend & mls cousin , their story was cute , although kiddish ..rest all were OK, bearable ..I had to ff all du Lei scenes , didn't care for his trauma at all..

Few scenes which were really really nice ..

jinag jung actually thought of focussing on family & resign from job 🤣

Their first kiss in the snow 🥰

the party in the first episode.both looked stunning ..🤩the proposal was equally cute & romantic.

All in all it was a promising show but in the later part they kinda ruined it for me ..compared to all others romcoms I like , this one was 7/10 & those 7 were only bec of the male lead 😍

i watched first two episodes and didn’t like it much.
