if he understands her even a little bit then he knows very well if someone hurt or try to hurt her family they become right candidate for her hate she can bear pain, betrayal but can't tolerate if her family even get hurt little bit so if he tried do something like that to make her give up case he should forget about her because after this disgusting plan she will never going to forgive him.

yeh sabse jyada shahnawaz pe bhari padega kyun ki iss so called affair/marriage se sabse jyada mehru hurt hogi

Muskan proved that she is, after all, Sadia's daughter...at this point I'm sure Mehru is adopted and pretty soon this plot point will be revealed.

Frankly, if Muskan falls for her brother's murderer and wants to marry him, going against her sister, then she deserves whatever Zain throws at her and Mehru should leave all of them and go on her merry way.
