I have been telling this, that the very moment she made that offer, their relationship was doomed!

If he had accepted her offer and proposed marriage (or whatever that she was offering!), even with good intentions, it would prove that the preconception of him was true. She would definitely agree to marry him, but the emotional scar would be irremediable!

His refusal was even more perilous! Him refusing her offer, but agreeing to help and going all out for that, had completely off balanced their dynamics. At the beginning, his kind-heartedness did manage to revert her prejudice, but it brought her into an emotionally very precarious position - even worse than agreeing to her deal. If he accepted that offer, she was the one who had called the shots there. For her, it'd be a simple give-and-take - a rather transactional alliance without any emotional involvement. But the fact that she had shed all her reservations about him, started trusting him wholeheartedly with all her problems and started to feel for him beyond the relationship they had - all culminated to form her emotional catastrophe. She was slowly surrendering emotionally and Humsha's word were just the trigger she needed to plunge into the emotional abyss - because in the case of Bilal agreeing to her deal, there would be an emotional detachment from her side. But reaching a point where she was almost at the verge of emotional surrender, and add to that when all her loved ones have solemnly vouched to be team Bilal, was her tipping point - she felt betrayed and cheated, more so than if he would have taken advantage of her situation. That was what made her react the way she did. Her outright denial with 'zara sa bhi nahin' was the testament, she wanted to convince him ( or more so herself) that she has not fallen for his 'manipulations' - not the brightest decision, but that is how she is - impulsive, pliable and hasty!

So I think regardless whether Bilal agreed to her 8-crore deal or not, their ship was destined to sink. How they are going to sail through it, or whether they are going to come out of it together or otherwise is needed to be seen. So, that is why I believe that their story has just started.

At the end of the day MPHT, Mein and even SMD are gaining views. Mein and MPHT did good in terms of ratings too. So, whose to say if those projects were a mistake especially if the producers and channel benefitted from them as they got both ratings and views.

I personally might not have enjoyed Mein or found MPHT a lost potential, but it is what it is.

Lots of shows also get views and trps while delivering a solid story (or at least one with less issues) and good performances - like Radd, AIeJ, NJ, Bismil, Jafaa, Khaie, JeJ (trps). There were also plenty of average shows with decent stories that could have gotten eye balls with a bigger star like BRKRJ.

How come no other star finds themselves in this position. Even Feroze is now diversifying. SMD is literally at the bottom of the barrel shows of the year - in the same category as JN. Imagine if Wahaj kisi acche show main hota toh aur kitne views aate.

At some point,you lose audience goodwill. Just see Salman Khan. He gave so many bad films in a row that it ended up affecting Tiger 3's BO. Same with Akshay. MPHT , Mein and SMD - each had less commercial success than last one so you can see a declining trend in hype. This kind of short term thinking effs your career in the long-term.

Wahaj has one of the most versatile filmogrpahies so I am not worried about his bankability. Especially considering how there are many shows which neither get ratings nor views. And actors who stick to only one kind of content.

I personally am enjoying SMD and glad Wahaj signed it coz Bilal is an author backed role.

From what I gathered, now that she is Mrs. Ammar Ahmed, he convinces himself that the one who 'destroyed' him just by one first glance, is not her - that she belongs with someone else and the one he fell for is not her, I guess. Looking at his family history, he would definitely stay away from Sadaf once she is married, no?

We can all have our own opinion but the sad reality is that BA is not even among top10 or top 15 Male performances of 2024. Nor is BA even in top 5 (or even top 7) of Wahaj's own performances. Also, Wahaj should be compared with his own competitors not with the likes of actors whose shows neither get ratings nor views nor critical praise.

Even actors struggling today have great and even better filmographies like zahid, adeel. even mikaal did some good dramas. What matters industry is what you are doing now not what you did in the past. It's about winning the lambi race not the short sprint.

I believe at his worst Wahaj will become like Ahmed or Farhan Saeed than a Mikal or Zahid. They too couldn’t sustain their hype from Parizaad or MH . Wahaj still has TB 2 which can give him a second chance.

The writer or the director think that making the hero dance at his love interests wedding would “elevate” the heroism even more , NO it just makes him look like a doormat and spineless. This adds no aura to him but certainly takes a lot away from the character.

So I’m putting the blame on both Haseeb and Wahaj here. They both should have known better. Itni understanding tou honi chahiye character ki. You can’t just add meaningless frills and a beautiful set and hope for it to just gel magically. It doesn’t happen like that.

It is obvious that no one is taking feedback warna they should have fixed so many things in post-production already. Geo just doesn't do that I feel unless there is some guaranteed monetary payoff. Mark my words but Kaddu is not going to spend another penny on this project now. They have a higher chance of making money back by writing it off as a business loss in their tax filings.
