I wish his dancing was kept natural and impromptu like in Mere Paas Tum Ho. Why are they making him do choreographed wedding dance when he is not good at it smiley19smiley19 He looks so stiff - it's like some Salman Khan and Sunny Deol had a baby.

Also, which boss does a choreographed dance? When did BA practice? What's with the over intense expressions?

Haseeb ne Wahaj ke career or izzat ko dubane ki kya koi supari li hai smiley7smiley19smiley18

And I have to get this off my chest that Haseeb and Wahaj both think they ate with this. I don’t know if it’s lack of self insight at one’s own dance skills or lack of introspection at how this show is being received critically, something is definitely screaming that they are out of touch with the reception of this show. Because… how EASY would it have been to edit this dance sequence out? Why make your show even more of a joke? There are plenty of people already dancing, let them dance. Just edit out Bilal Abdullah’s bit. It makes no sense anyway since no boss would do that at any employee’s wedding. Also it’s so out of character. When has he learned this and why?

The writer or the director think that making the hero dance at his love interests wedding would “elevate” the heroism even more , NO it just makes him look like a doormat and spineless. This adds no aura to him but certainly takes a lot away from the character.

So I’m putting the blame on both Haseeb and Wahaj here. They both should have known better. Itni understanding tou honi chahiye character ki. You can’t just add meaningless frills and a beautiful set and hope for it to just gel magically. It doesn’t happen like that.

Remember KRQ didn’t write the dance sequence, it’s entirely on Haseeb

I blame it on Wahaj ! He had every right to say No to this clownery. BA randomly doing a choreographed dance at his employee wedding is just so not his character.

That’s my main issue with this show. If the writer can give so much dignity to the female protagonist’s dad, why can’t Sadaf get the same treatment? The Sadaf we saw in the first 10 episodes was a girl with strength and a fierce determination to care for her family. Someone like that wouldn’t accept freeebies(excl. the 8 cr matter) and stoop to name-calling her family’s benefactor. I know petty girls exist but would you really want one as your protagonist?

That scene today was interesting- the way Sadaf immediately tried to patch things up with Ammar after seeing Bilal getting close? You can tell she’s using Ammar as a shield. She clearly has some feelings for Bilal even if she hasn’t fully figured it out herself. I wish they’d leaned more into this——her conflicted feelings, her internal struggles rather than giving us those dull, chemistry-free scenes with Ammar.

On the other hand, the BA-F-Z scene was cute, warm, and natural. As for the moment when Sadaf offered tea to BA, it felt like she was nudging him to notice her but I loved that he didn’t give her the attention she wanted.

Sadaf kind of reminds me of Trisha’s character in a Tamil film called Vinnaithandi Varuvaya—a girl so unsure of what she wants that she ends up confusing the audience too.

The epi was trending at 5 for some time. Now it's trending at 10.

Sucha wasted potential of the show and mahaj pairing.

This show has its flaws but honestly I feel Wahaj has performed well and has reason to be proud. It’s okay if you feel differently, people can have differing opinions. I give him enough credit that when he isn’t proud of his performance then he doesn’t endorse it, such as the case with Mein. It’s okay for him to feel proud if he has put in a lot of effort into the show. It doesn’t mean he won’t take any input. And there are plenty of people in the YouTube comments commending his performance. Those are probably larger in numbers than the reviewers, reddit and other social media critics altogether…why should he ignore them? There’s an audience for everything. This doesn’t mean that he isn’t taking any constructive criticism seriously. How do we know he isn’t? I don’t know of any other actors posting criticism for their characters.

As for the dancing, I’m making fun of it more than anyone here but that’s mostly because I’ve seen his dancing before. That being said, he put effort into rehearsals and tried. As for the character…why can’t a CEO dance at a wedding? This family is special to him. He was extremely close to Mirza Saab, so much so that Sadaf is asking him what he thinks her dream about him means. Then he lived with Zaviyaar for a few month is the US. It isn’t that strange to dance at a wedding. He isn’t just performing at a park or something. We don’t even know how it will play out yet. So yes even though, I’m joking about it, I’m also looking forward to a lighter moment in an otherwise sad episode.

Also Wahaj did his part and now he’s done. He plays no part in the editing department. How it is all put together is up to that team.

Honestly my two favourite parts were when Bilal was avoiding eye contact and giving any extra attention to Sadaf. He did it all so respectfully and it just felt so real. I also liked the scene with Ammar when he was trying to be all normal and then just collapsed into his chair as soon as he left. And it transitioned nicely to alternating between his own scenes of him in a depressive, emotional state to Sadaf with her family all happy shopping for her wedding.

Bilal dancing at the wedding makes sense. It's a classic case of hero dancing at heroine's wedding.

Wahaj dancing is an issue 🤣😭 ......everyone knows he can't dance. Choreographer should have kept this in mind while giving him steps....Salman, Ajay etc can't dance so choreography happens as per them....Wahaj should have been more mindful. Anyway, let's see how it goes today.

I am actually enjoying the memes and it's only going to help SMD gain more traction. So, i absolutely don't mind it at all.

Keeping aside Wahaj's dance, i am actually so excited for the entire sequence. I really like the song and also the way finally story is moving forward. 🔥

Saw a few comparing Haya and Bilal's dance. While Haya was the villain, Bilal is the hero. But yes Sabeena and Wahaj both can act well that's the common point for sure.

In the wedding shots in particular, this show has a very Bollywoodish vibe to it so everything goes with that too. A ceo dancing at a wedding isn’t that strange of an event. And if he’s stiff and out of rhythm then it’s fine too because he’s playing a business man not a professional dancer. I’ll laugh at his little performance, have my fun and move on. I don’t feel it will take anything away. And memes are fun…there were so many funny ones for Murtasim’s shawl too. For me, it’s all good fun.
