It also seems that I'm not the only one who doesn't find the quite extreme ticket prices okay. My friends here in my area can't go with the kids and/or the elders, not with also buying popcorn and/or nachos and something to drink (it's a really long movie)...and they can't take anything with them (one has to put bags into lockers).

From the point of a purely commercial view you're right...however, I strongly contest to see a movie only as a commercial product...it is the result of a very diverse and quite long investement of creativity, artistic vision and (handi)craft done to attract as much people as possible to watch the result of this work.

What had been done with Pushpa 2 at an extreme is firstly creating a biiiig hype, secondly making takers (distributors etc) believe in an auction that the movie will bring them money and hike the selling of the rights, thirdly hiking the ticket prices (which is in accordance with the distributors). Actually, this is a usual proceeding and most big-budget movies do that...but not on the scale it had been done with Pushpa 2.

And now, the product has to deliver what the hype promised...does it? Already the 3D version is delayed...and what about the quality of the movie itself??? It seems that thousands of people have trust into the product... because of Allu/Rashmika/Fahadh? of the Pushpa-story?of the director Sukumar? One will get to know if Pushpa 2 is worth of this trust and if the watching experience is 'paisa vasool'...
