I'm watching You are my lover friend. Clips looked cute and friendship in the show is heart warming till now. The best friends / bros as they keep calling have recently started to realise diff feels towards each other and they are conflicted to accept it or ignore, fearing they'll lose their bond. FL is a strong headed, calm, clear and logical person, who is big brother to our ML, a super supportive, caring guy, who is CEO of a food based company, co-founded by their batchmates. The process is shown beautifully till now, their bond strong and lovely, just the show is a little slow for my pace. Enjoying so far.

If you are in for a few military training, Xu kai antics and comic timing, you can go head with AMA, just it gets a little heavy towards the end coz of war, action and all. It has more than 60 epis I guess. But I could sit through all, FFing a little towards end.

I started watching ama ..but I've put the show you've mentioned on my watch list ..

The thing is ..I try to mix the genre so for now ama is ok..I'll br watching a period drama next

Well I'm glad it wasn't all about wars , or about the training , or academy or patriotism (although it was marketed that way ) .more about dealing with criminals, drug lords , Japanese who were trying to stir trouble ..

I can basically watch anything if comedy element is present & it was there in abundance & very cool subtle comedy mostly the antics by the hero & qu wanting and the confusion created coz of the gender bender thing 🤣

Xu kai ..I decided to sit through for him and boy , he doesn't disappoint ..he played gu yangzen brilliantly ..the mischievous , playful , romantic, action hero , he has it all in him 😆 shen jungshen comes a close second with his quite demeanor but xu Kai is better in leaps and bounds ..next is qu manting , she might be the only parallel lead who didn't annoy me with her clinginess 😆 she was quite adorable and cute throughout

It was hilarious how this whole gender bender situation turned out to be ..at one time , at least 4 ppl were pursuing the fl , boys and even a girl 🤣 gu yangzen, shen , song , gu yangzen's cousin who had a crush on her / him..the time when shen felt like he's in love but how , coz he's a boy, those epis were hilarious ..also after gu confessed , his antics of treating her well 🤣 when everybody believed they had something going on ..also the bickering scenes bw qu and gu were the highlight..how she continued to pursue him & he found ways to run away from her..🤣 both were crazy ..

Their missions were a little boring except the drug lord one , that was one was best so far ..

The only weak link was the female lead..Xie xhang ..she took this long to realize where her heart truly belongs ..all the boys were hurt & distressed coz of her ..a really multi talented girl she was isn't she ? She could skate , dance , sing , she could do Kung fu , horse riding 😆 then they said she's weak in physical fitness tests.. zyada hi ho gaya ..I got used to her later..

Hhmm raining bullets but they never run out🤣 and loads of ppl dying ..women taking over all the imp positions like plotting planning 😆

A must watch overall...🤩

Ok so the last 7-8 epis of Ama were filled with emotion & a lot of action ..they killed a LOT of people ..thankfully a handful of them survived inspite of the raining bullets , bombs and plotting..

Ama ppl getting massacred was heartbreaking 💔 but seriously speaking , towards the end it all looked like a bollywood movie ..they overplayed the vamp ..I mean was she this smart ke she cud hold up till the end ? With her nautanki she looked more funny to me than cunning..

Speaking character wise , gu yangzen showed immense growth ..he cared deeply for people around him & could go to any lengths to protect them without caring for his life ..I saw a lot of romance in their story..not romance but real selfless love which could transform a person

Xie xhang , it was a miracle she survived 😆 the best part I liked was she managed to kill all her kidnappers and come out alone , military training put to use 😆

Shen brothers , jushang, heart break twice for him 😁 he was a good man , I loved him..the comrades were also very very nice ..shen tangbai , glad they united him with qu manting . All the bodyguards survived 🙂

Ms yu , she was another miracle..seriously it seems like she was running a parallel govt and better than the real one 😁

Moving on to the next show..thx for the recommendation guys 😘

Bold - this.. My god was a laughter riot.. A wholesome show..

Finished watching intense love..

Hhhmm it started really well..the leads were engaged already so a lot of steps were skipped ..may be that's why there were just 24 epis but when I finished watching, I thought 12 were also enuf

Nice good looking pretty pretty leads & their cute story which follows frm engagement to marriage ..

Let me pen down the stuff which I loved first

They were engaged to be married . So they were already into each other's space ..didn't take long to get comfortable with each other

"I'll fly wherever you are " , I found it veryy cute 😁

The female lead , how she dealt with her bratty sil , her competitor , the one who had a crush on her and the ml, she's veryy pretty , I like her overall personality..she looked like a barbie doll and also acted like one 😉

The ml , he was simple , nice guy , she Described him well , how he melts only when she's with her ..

The fl is kind , she's forgiving.some may find it irritating that she doesn't give up on Guo zinting ..all that was needed was an honest conversation ..it ended up well so it wasn't as disturbing but yeah it's kinda stupid..

Now the not so likeable stuff

I didn't like how to made their fl act ..I know she can act coz I've seen her in love at night n she was good there ..but here she purposely acts like a toddler and he treats her like one 😁 I give it to her coz she was an actress but even then , it should've changed after the initial epis ..

The story overall took a nosedive after the mountain sequence ..nothing significant happened except one mu which was also , not ok ...they didn't use their chemistry or the build up to their at all..their screen time also reduced a lot after epi 14-15.

The supporting actors I didn't like , her friend wu di , and that guy jiawei , he was stoned all the while ..the sil was annoying at first but i like her track..ultimately they didn't do anything with her also..her love story looked forced ..wu di & mls friends story was better but I didn't like the actress or her character so ..

They showed challenges with her profession but not his ? Obviously he couldn't be that available given he was a surgeon ..

The parents were nice , elder bro although his role was limited , it was OK.. he was there as a protective parent to both ..

Overall it could be a better show had they written it better ..but still a nice watch as I liked the leads..

If it was me , I'd swap the titles of this show with only for love 😆 coz that one was really intense ..one could feel the heat and the passion ..now this is the 2nd time I got deceived with the title lol

Watch it ! 100% ..it's a thriller so i can't write much ..but watch it for the gorgeous leads ..

Story wise well..it's a little disappointing in how it was played out (well it was perfect more than half way through at least , 2/3rds of it) , like there were some loose ends but if you're with a logical brain you can figure out certain stuff..I was able to , mostly ..guess correctly 🤣

Anyhow ..the chemistry between the leads till the time they confessed was actually very very good ..n i loved the fact that she had undying faith in him ..unshakable ..rock solid Faith ..and it didn't develop over the time , it was there frm where it all began ..

It was a nice watch , although they could drag out a little lesser ..plus , dunno it was deliberate but they really showed the fbi ppl as fools 🤣

Her bff and his BFF were the best supporting chars in the show..specially his BFF ..cute funny dependable ,he was amazing ..another thx to the story writer for not killing them off .

It was a shocker in the end , but I was expecting it ..the great thing is after a tedious mental exercise they did give a happy ending ..🤗is there a season 2 ?

Just one little bit of a spoiler..the farewell speech of Jin Yao was beautifully written 🤩 it was the best scene of the show !

Since love like the galaxy has 2 seasons & quite a number of episodes, I'll make my diary entry for the first season otherwise I'll forget the good things abt it 😁

Guys it's a must watch show ..it's absolutely wonderful ..different from the costume dramas I've seen so far..

This is the first show where I didn't care about the romance, chemistry, the leads meeting eo or the love story ..

Just the family dynamics of the fl is amazing to watch...abs hilarious & deep at the same time .

The first 10 epis the leads don't see each other ..the ott dramatic grandmother , aunt , and most imp niao niao kept me entertained How beautiful , lovely , naughty, innocent but smart , clever , talented was she !

Her mother is another lovable character although she's too strict , biased & on surface she looks like she cares only for the rules & not her children ..i abs hated her when she ordered to beat up niao niao (btw I love this name ) , she went too far ..at the same time , she took care of her family politics with so much smartness ..she's not to be fooled ..I love this about her ...she goes overboard at times but she's also called out for it ..by niao niao, her husband , sons , and third aunt..when niao niao decided to reason it out with her about her biasedness (I think it was the table fiasco) , and she was totally flustered I love that scene ..

Abs love how niao niao just doesn't back off , with all the warnings & sterness ..that one scene where she says nobody is there for me so I'll be there , I won't expect anything from anyone & love myself ..brilliant 🤩

All the funny situations made me roll with laughter ..

But then there were people who loved niao niao ..her father , cousin, brothers , her maid , her third aunt (beautiful character ) & our hero ..the suitors , amongst them yuan shajian was the one I loved..him and niao niao were hilarious together , if it wasn't for our hero , I'd like to pair her up with this scholar guy.

So it takes a turn after 15 & niao niao is punished to be sent to huo county , there she faces the real world , and realized how her problems are so petty, also why her had to parents abandon her ..suddenly she matured a lot ..it was wonderful to see her strategize & protect herself and her people , sense the danger coming ..ofc hero saving the heroine just in time got to be the 👌

It also starts the stupid love story of niao niao and Yao. I initially disliked him but he grew on me..he was stupid , like a clown but innocent hearted like niao . No wonder she found a mate ..both were childish & away from reality..she just wanted to run away from her family situation & this was the first guy who proposed n she said yes ..n in her mind it was just taking care of her , listening to her ..she was good for him coz she was strong but he wasn't good for her coz two weak people can't build a future ..

The places where all the 3 of them appear were funny ..here , I loved niao's mother a lot 🤣 n wanted her to continue be the roadblock in the marriage.

So the wedding was called off due to circumstances & our hero stepped in ..

His majesty was again another adorable character..funny ..& caring towards zisheng ..

So the best part in this show is every scene , no matter how inconsequential or funny they make it , had a lot of dept ..choices were questioned ..they were discussed & solutions were sought after ..the proposal scene was SO well done...niao's mother rejecting the proposal n her reasoning n how niao was mocked for it , how he stood up for her n she finally said yes ..one cud really help but pity her.

All said n done I thought niao will appreciate his protectiveness but she proved me wrong ..she thought he's suffocating just Luke her mother..frm one hell hole she didn't want to go to another but she had no choice..

The family scenes where he gives military training to all is damn funny 🤣 and then she tells him what needed to be told ..correct him ..both took a step back , only then niao niao realised he's the one ..

All in all abs an endearing show & a must watch 😍

Yaa that scholar guy was toooo proud to admit that he likes her to her until very last...but he secretly defended her at many places..I always loved it how niao niao always put him down and showed 0 interest in him on his face

Among all the shows I watched this one has the best Emperor

I just love this guy...

Someone planning a rebellion to dethrone him ---> the kid might be playing around or is misunderstood... forgive him

but the culprit is responsible for starting the chain causing Ling Buyi's love getting engaged to someone else ----> BASTRD deserves to DIE !!! My Ling Buyi will be forever alone

About Yao, honestly I could never take that guy seriously as one of Niao Niao's suitor. To me he resembled an obedient pet. Especially the way she was feeding him from her carriage (even pointed out by her mom)

Yao looked like an extension of his character Demo(played by the same actor) in go go squid. Hence I couldn't help but love him here too.
