It wasn't Released for numbers, it was released for us fans experiencing that Classic film again on Big Screen, fans who haven't seen when it got released.

oh pls..it is a big fat flop..no one does charities when they release anything on the big screen..it is all about the money..cinema owners and exhibitors care ghanta about the nostalgia and love and yada yada you wrote..they want footfalls in cinemas..and no one wants 500cr..but see the business of other re-releases and compare it with this..no one was interested..KHNH..VZ..JWM did good business for re-releases..

I don't think these movies have that sort of following and fanbase which KHNH, VZ, HAHK, etc to have any major demand for re-release

Its not really only about masala and entertainment, Definitely not about massy movies as the re-release happens in multiplexes

I mean obviously people are missing the experience of going to theatre but who will go for I Want To Talk or BB3 or to watch Arjun Kapoor as villain against 6 cops. Isse acha toh woh dekh lo jo pata hai ke thik hai aur already tried and tested hai.

They are silly to run re-release films in theatres what works 30-35 yrs back what makes them think it will work now. The audience are different back and now. They should stop embarassing themselves when all these films are shown in OTT platform

Kal Ho Na Ho going houseful. VZ released twice this yr and superhit. KkHH released multiple times.
