Here's Deivarayan Muthu: At 6 feet 6 inches, Gurnoor Singh Brar has the ability to pound the deck and generate extra bounce. Brar was the top wicket-taker in the 2024 Sher-E-Punjab T20 league, with 22 strikes in 11 matches. He also recently bowled at the Chepauk nets to the India batters in the lead-up to the Chennai Test against Bangladesh earlier this year and rushed some of them for pace and bounce. Brar was picked as a net bowler to try and replicate Bangladesh tearaway Nahid Rana’s height and bounce at India’s training session. In the IPL, Brar had been with GT previously as a reserve bowler.
