If they don't bring in any bizard twist and gave than entire monologue just to blindfold the audience, then shanno thinks mehru wont be able to leave him once he marries her and she falls for him. So he is trying hard to make her fall for him. But if he behaves like he don't love her and he married to get his bro out then it's just simply bad writing.

Totally agree. Shanno fell for Mehru. He wants her to fall for him so. He knows that being a girl with principles, she'll only fall in love with her husband. He wants to be her husband. And he thinks that once she becomes his wife she'll fall for him as he is a special man.🤓 After that she'll do whatever he asks her to do to please him, the same way he is doing everything to please her.

If they are going to admit that the monologue dialogues were just to cheat the audience, then that is abysmal writing and direction and no one will take their work seriously again. It is such a lazy and dishonest approach to storytelling. And any writer/director worth their salt knows this.
