They could have casted Momina or even Fatima if they had to cast Mamiya. They would have definitely done this show and they are beautiful too.

Maybe they considered other actresses too, but they were busy doing other projects, or refused to do a multi statrer to avoid comparison with the other cast. Sometimes actors get insecure. I remember the director of Noor Jahaan complained about approaching more than 10 actors to be a part of it, but they opted out.

The drama must likely was rejected by A listers. B listers won't reject dramas like Noor Jahan.

Yes. Noor Jahan was more like a saas bahu drama. For this I guess male actors were hesitated from doing it. Here in Faraar it is the opposite, it is mostly about male characters, so female actresses had to turn it down.

Yes. But they could still cast some good underrated actress.

Liked the second episodes too. Thankfully mamyas screenspace is very little and Sohai has bigger role till now. But, too many things are happening. It should be biweekly.

Good to see Haroon Shahid in a new avatar after the ever annoying Sardard in JN. Liked his equation with Batish...these two were the main focus of the drama today. Ahmed and Daniyal parts were mostly fillers. We also got introduced to Meerub..she is much more bearable than Mamya...
