My only gripe with Mehru is that she completely forgot to mention his engagement to Amal and Zeeshan's case the first time she said no
I don't blame her... I also forgot.

I liked the scene because we can clearly see differences between Rafay and Shaw and why she responds to Shaw and not to Rafay.
When Mehru would talk practicalities like cost of things, Rafay wanted her to be romantic and give him poetic lines like out of a movie. He used to be disappointed that she wasn't giving him doe eyed blushes and doing selfies. Instead, her mind is constantly buzzing on what to do and all the responsibilities that are on her shoulder.
Here, Shaw not only hears her but he tells her that he is going to take responsibility. It is his problem to handle, not hers. That is why "I will handle it" is so powerful and it just quietens her. For once in her life, she does not have to go out there to fix things. He is not dismissing her as too practical but he gets where she is coming from.
At the same time, he is not making the problems bigger than they are and instead makes them seem approachable because he has the confidence that he can handle it. He is a leader and she can rely on him. That is what he is conveying and while she may not express it, that is part of her attraction to him.
He is letting her that she can lean on his shoulder and it will be all fine. For a girl who has had to handle everything by herself even when she had a fiance, how soothing it would be get that kind of confident support. This is a woman who would swoon to that and not to romantic lines. That is why she rolled her eyes at him when he said she was beautiful when she worried.
Do you really think that shah has a strong personality to handle things and she can rely on him ?
He said made a better shahnawaz from me he may be strong but in negative way
Both of them are 2 different person I don't see him to deserve her

Yes, I do think that he will eventually show himself to be a worthy man. Right now, it is a mixture of using her as well as attraction. However, he has shown in the hospital scene that he can be useful to her in a good way without making her feel small or useless. So she can rely on him without losing herself if he chooses to. It seems like he is giving her lines but there are truths in those lines even when he is not aware of it. He thinks he is playing a fun game with her but does not realize he is already in it as well.

I am watching one Turkish drama Kan cicekleri and I loved the concept as I had a bit of research on Blood Feud years back.
The couple is good looking and the male lead is not blind with all the scheming.
I watched two Korean dramas, judge from hell and love next door. Earlier this year had watched queen of tears( I loved a strong headed, kind of arrogant female lead as I have some of the same qualities 🤣)
Right now I don't have any Pakistani drama in my watchlist.
So you are busy watching different dramas with different concepts.
I think this year Pakistani dramas offered much better concepts than the 2 or 3 past years. There are few miniseries (about 8 episodes dramas with social issues were produced) and dramas with multi tracks, and there are also those entertaining dramas, and romantic ones!
Call me an emotional fool but I am impressed by Shanno's way of convincing Mehru to get married to him.
I believed in his words . I thought he means them. Shanno wants Mehru in his life to become a better man. And it is not a trap. He really needs her.
In their last meeting when Mehru told him that she won't compromise in her princibles , he looked fine. And assured her that he will handle every matter. I liked his confidence.
And if we put our doubts away, this is the best way for 2 individuals to get married and try to adjust and support eachother. I know Mehru may get shocked later when she learns that it was a plan to save his brother. But deep inside I feel Shanno means his words. And he really wants to change.
i wanna see the reactions of Urooj and her mother and dad and Bee Jaan and Rafay when they hear about Shahnawaz and Mehru's engagement lol...

I don't think she remembers the engagement. She was too emotionally drained when she slapped zain. Also she might have thought the engagement broke off and that's why he is coming after her. Remember how angry he got when she misunderstood him. So she might have thought he ain't the kind to two time.
I think after shanno helped her with the case, she don't related shanno to what happened.
