This reminds me of when Filmfare dude Jitesh Pillai made some snotty comment about Hina Khan, a TV actress, going to Cannes. I don’t know whom Vikrant is talking about, but I think turning their noses up at TV personalities happens quite often in Bollywood.

This is true. What is sadder is these days even influencers get more acknowledgement than TV actors.

I remember reading a ranveer singh interview in 2011 where he said people suggested him to do tv and he refused because no body becomes a star from tv . There was only one srk and one vidya balan

All 4 are known more for their relationships/breakups/flings than their acting skills. Yehi karna hoga phir toh.

There's no 'superstar' on tv judging reality shows except for Madhuri maybe. And Bachchan hosted KBC. There was no need for the so called part if he wanted to say TV as a medium shouldn't be underestimated.

Deep respect he is still rooted to his ground he respects the medium that made him what he is tdy 'TV' that leads him to films

He is stating facts when films flops for them again to again to earn money they switch to TV
