Her milk has strong medicines it should not be given to any infant .. we are told to control our diet .. and take any medication asking our doctor when we are breastfeeding..

That’s also one of the reasons mothers wean of the kid .. if there is some illness( for mom) then the child is given top feed ( canned milk )

Exactly. Formula is as close to mother's milk as possible and today with the range f formulas, you can definitely feed babies who may also be allergic to BM due to some issues.

The reason docs push for BM only for the first 6 months, is because companies like Nestle exploit poor & illiterate people to show that formula is better than BM, due to which situation had become awful in countries like India & Pakistan where clean water is an issue.

But now toh even anganwadis keep regular formulas and teach mothers how to supplement in case of flow problems - yahaan utne bade Poddar family couldn't think of it - idiots
