Aryansh's POV
I wake up with a shout for help and see myself in the bedroom but not outside of the mansion.
I check the time and it's showing at 5 AM. I lay my head on the pillow and think about the nightmare, which happened a few years ago. It took us some time to heal from that trauma. I don't want to think about those days. Those were gone forever.
As I'm wide awake now so I decide to go for a drive. There is no destination in my mind so I randomly take the directions. I stop my car near a park, which is far away from my home.
Breathing in the fresh morning air will relax my body and calm the chaos in my head.
I came here to get the peace for my mind but my heart started doing the marathon. Because I see Piya jogging in the park with her headphones.
I jogged towards her and tapped her shoulder to meet and talk but never expected such a dramatic reaction from her.
Ouch, Piya. Are you crazy.
Sirrrr, you... I'm so sorry
What was that?
She elbowed my stomach and was ready to punch my nose.
Sorry sir, I thought some roadside eveteaser is trying to ruin my morning.
Seriously? At this hour?
I take a deep breath and soon recover from the punch. Eve-teasing, that's weird. Why does she think that? First of all, she needs to stop calling me sir as we are not in the office.
They can be anywhere Sir. They don't check the time before harassing a girl.
First, stop calling me Sir, Piya and second, a mad person will only think to harass you because you can kill anyone with your karate.
I see her mumbling something while being engrossed in her thoughts. Damn, this girl has more chaos in her mind than mine.

She looks at the surroundings and then her shoes before replying to me.

I feel thirsty and see a coconut stall so I ask her while pointing at the stall which is at the left side of the park.

I noticed her fumbling and the scared voice. She looks like a student who met her class teacher outside the school and now she needs to talk with the teacher so that the teacher doesn't get offended.

Same but I graduated a long time ago.
She smiles on my reply and that makes me happy for some unknown reason. We both reached the coconut stall.
Piya's POV
Today I woke up early and decided to go for a jog to get the energy and fresh air but I never expected in my dreams that instead of inhaling the fresh air, I would be hyperventilating
I see my boss, Aryansh Shekhawat, in the park. I elbowed him on the stomach for coming out on my behind.
The first shock is seeing my boss in the park, the second shock is elbowing him on the stomach and the third shock is listening to him as he calls my name "Piya". He asks me to call him by his name "Aryansh". First two shocks, I can handle but the third one is making me nervous. Why it's affecting me this much when he calls me Piya.
Please don't call me with my name. You don't know how it's affecting me especially your accent.
I never admit but he has a foreign accent to his tongue and when he says my name, my heart gets all mushy and mushy.
When did you learn Karate, Piya?
Mr. Be... Si.. Aryansh, my heart flips when I say his name in my mind. I don't know what his name means or if it really has any meaning but calling him with the first name feels too personal and too intimate.
We are standing near a coconut stall and talking about random things. He suddenly asks me about the previous act. I'm still mortified with the thought of hitting him. I'm glad he didn't fuss about it like he does at the office. I learnt Karate a few years back for self-defense.
One fine day, papa got the pamphlet in his office so he asked Siya and me if we were interested in joining. First we both joined the classes for time pass but later we really liked it.
A few years ago, it was not planned but a sudden decision, I replied.
That's nice. Hope you don't mind me asking but why did you think that there would be an eve teaser? Is anyone bothering you?
No, no one is troubling me but I read on paper that these days eve-teasing is increasing.

I finish my question and wait for his response.
We are humans so we take time to get to know the other person. Sometimes our first opinion of a person need not be correct. With passing time, opinions change and the same happens with me.
He gave a very large answer but what did that mean. Does his opinion about me change? Did he confess that he was wrong about me? Oh my god. I can't believe that bea... I mean Aryansh Shekhawat says that his first impression about me was wrong.

We go our own ways but while going home, I think about the things which are happening between Aryansh and me in the past few days. I should be awry but I'm not. This feels natural.

Aryansh's POV
I'm going home but her question still revolves in my mind. How my perspective of her changed.
Earlier, I used to dislike her for being reckless and immature but now I find those antics amusing. Strange, isn't it?
When I asked her if someone was pestering her, I was anxious to know the answer. If someone is troubling her then I don't know what I would have done to that person.
One thing is sure that I would have made him regret his existence. Why this much anger towards an imaginary person and why talking with her feels so right.
What's happening to me?
